Old Vehicles / Cars

Scrapping old vehicles (cars, trucks, RVs, etc.) is governed by Ohio state laws.  As such, you cannot cut an old vehicle into pieces before bringing it in to scrap.

You must bring the following items for all vehicles (including trailers over 4,000 lbs.) you intend to scrap:

  1. A valid title in the seller's name.

    • We have a notary on site, so you can sign over the title at no charge.

    • We send the titles to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV).

  2. A valid government issued photo ID.

Please note that we will photograph you as part of the transaction.

RVs and campers must be gutted prior to bringing them to us.  Note that no title is required for campers.

If you don't have the title or need assistance in obtaining one, please visit your nearest Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles office.  You may also contact the Ohio Titling Support services, 614.752.7671, or visit www.bmv.ohio.gov.
