Background Checks
We conduct a check for court records on all potential employees. Honesty is the best policy, and a conviction does not necessarily constitute a barrier to employment.

Motor Vehicle Records
If there is a possibility that your employment could include operating equipment of any kind, Sims Brothers will conduct a pre-employment review of your motor vehicle records.

Because safety is of paramount importance, all employment applicants are required to take a pre-hiring drug test, at our expense. After employment begins, Sims Brothers conducts periodic random drug testing of our teammates. We also have drug dogs inspect our facilities, equipment and teammates' cars on a random basis.

Safety Training
All new hires at Sims Brothers undergo an intensive safety orientation up to three days in duration, and every teammate gets over 10 hours a year of continuous safety training.
